Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
The short version: your WhatsApp conversation is processed on your own device, in your browser. It is never uploaded to us, and we never see your messages.
Your conversation stays on your device
When you drop in an exported chat (a .txt or .zip), ChatIntoPDF reads it and builds the PDF entirely in your browser. The file and the messages inside it are not sent to our servers. The preview and the finished PDF are generated locally and downloaded directly by your browser. We have no copy of your chat and cannot read it.
No account
You don't create an account or give us your name to use the tool. We don't build a profile of you.
What is stored in your browser
When you buy a 24-hour pass, we store a small token in your browser's local storage so your pass is remembered on that device until it expires. That token holds only the tier you bought and an expiry time — never any part of your conversation. You can clear it any time through your browser's site-data settings. Local storage stays on your device and is not shared with us or anyone else.
Payments
Payments are handled by PayPal. We never receive or store your card or bank details. To confirm a payment, PayPal gives us a transaction reference (a capture id) and the amount. Your use of PayPal is also governed by PayPal's own privacy policy.
We only use an email address if you choose to give us one — for example to ask for support. We don't add you to marketing lists.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are visited and whether the tool is working — counts and page paths only. This never includes the content of your chat, because that content never reaches us.
What we don't do
- We don't upload, read, store or share your conversation.
- We don't sell data.
- We don't require an account or track you across other sites.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions: contact@pinecoder.in.
